I followed the tutorial exactly as shown in the video. However, I’m experiencing an issue: the pad starts writing even before the marker touches the notepad. Because of this, I’m unable to write any word properly, since it registers marks without any contact.
Feels great, looks great, works well. The pad sensitivity to the sharpie was very high at first, so takes some fine tuning to receive a legible signal. Be careful with the printing of the Sharpie logo on the marker as it easily can be scratched off (in case you perform with other gimmicked sharpies, it is noticeably when switching between newer ones and one with etched logo). Enjoy! Great product.
You have wrong . I send me wring tips. Fir this reason my sharpie pen is broke.
BUY 2! These are great & through the pen had its place on n the line up. For example I use the pen with the memo pad but for darling dups or anything where you want the audience to see. These are the go! I make it a habit to use two. I have one & the spectator has one just in case there’s ever an issue where there ink runs out I’ll just give them mine as a backup. The re-inking process is easy & though it take just a little effort it’s totally worth it.

This is the best tool to accompany your PITATA clipboard. If you work in front of an audience, you need the drawing or word to be seen by your audience. The pen that came with my wooden clipboard works great up close but this sharpie was the perfect addition for my stage and parlor shows. Thank you PITATA!

ORDER INK FROM AMAZON WHILE YOU’RE WAITING FOR THIS TO ARRIVE. Yes, the Sharpie arrived in a timely manner. Yes, the Sharpie works (even without ink). But now I’m waiting another 2-3 weeks for ink- because it doesn’t come with ink. I just wanted to stress that because they didn’t. When the ink arrives I’m sure I’ll love it.
Received everything in a timely manner. I am very happy with my purchase . Everything works well however the marker with the white board seem to work a little too well. I would appreciate it if you would contact me about this issue. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend Pitata to anyone who is considering this type of equipment.
One major flaw: refilling the ink is uncomfortable and feels like it will damage the unit. Other than that, it is a well thought product. The accuracy it achieves with the impression devices is impressive, the system to turn it on and off is quick and easy... What a shame the ink makes this more difficult to recommend.
Actually a good idea, but in my view not fully developed. There is a risk that the internal electronics can be damaged by ink, as it is obviously not protected well enough, and the writing tip is not always reliably movable. Soaking the writing tips is also not very user-friendly and a small bottle of optimal ink would have to be included in order to be able to use it immediately. In the meantime, you can search for a suitable ink on the Internet, although unfortunately the instructions do not contain any information on recommended inks.
FANTASTIC! Using this pen with the Pitata Memopad or Smart Whiteboard has made my routines so much more organic. Everybody uses Sharpies, and this clever device looks and functions just like a Sharpie during close-up, parlour or stage performances. No spectator will ever guess it has "special properties" in any way. I liked it so much, I bought two more!
