The Design Process
Many magic producers have released timepiece prediction effects. Some of these releases were quality items, but we still believed there was a lot of room for improvement.
Example #1: The hands on other watches always went clockwise to reach the desired time. Even the fastest version on the market could take as much as 30 seconds.
Example #2: The crowns on other magic watches do not have a direct magical function, and some cannot even be used to adjust the time.
In order to create the Perfect Prediction Watch that we had in mind, we decided to venture off the beaten path.
The dream was exhilarating, but we encountered formidable challenges in our attempt to integrate all the desired functions into a single watch.
The watch had to be designed from the ground up, including the chip and layout design. Even the physical shape of the crown, as well as the various adaptations of the gear wheels, had to be customized. In some cases, we had to create components specifically for this project since they did not exist before.
You will see the true power that time and technology brought to magic as they progressed. We invested a significant amount of time and energy into this project, and like many other invention stories, there were times when we thought it was impossible. But finally, we made it.
The whole team almost collapsed after numerous failures. This is undoubtedly our most difficult project, but also the one filled with the most breakthroughs and the proudest work we have done so far.
Five Historical Breakthroughs
1. It is one of the fastest in terms of setting the desired time.
The watch only takes a maximum of 2 seconds to reach the desired time. This is made possible by our unique asynchronous hand travel mechanism, which allows the hour and minute hands to travel independently to the target position via the shortest path.
2. Fast connection.
The watch remains always on. Bluetooth is always active. This means it connects almost instantaneously when you launch the app or switch on the remote control.
3. It is the first watch to allow for a peek of the time.
The crown can be pulled out to adjust the time by a spectator. When the crown is pushed back in, the updated time will be transmitted to the PITATA App. The customized crown and electronic chip open up many more possibilities for magic.
4. It is one of the earliest watches to be incorporated into an IoT ecosystem.
PITATA IoT Function is our core technology. Any time that is written on any of PITATA's synchronized impression devices (Like the PITATA Smart WhiteBoard and PITATA Smart MemoPad) can be intelligently recognized by the PITATA App and the PITATA App automatically control and adjust the hands on the watch to the desired time.
5. Probably the first ever dual-mode remote-controlled watch.
With a powerful Bluetooth chip, you can pair the same remote control as PITATA Time Hacker for basic operations. You can also experience unprecedented convenience and intelligent operations via the PITATA App. Both the remote control and the App can be paired simultaneously.

After several design revisions, we finally decided on sapphire for the crystal. The dial incorporates several functions, and all are housed within a stainless-steel bezel and case. The watch is simple and minimalistic. A perfect fit for the elegant gentleman.

These watches work like Swiss ones — just made in China 😅 The accuracy is excellent, and the response time is very fast. In performance, they feel reliable and solid. The only thing to be careful about is changing the battery. I wasn’t careful enough once and accidentally pulled the mechanism out of the case together with the battery, which damaged one of the hands. I still haven’t found the time to send it in for repair. That said, the watch itself is still a very cool product and I really like what it can do.
Superb so far. Only drawback is the crown is difficult to pull out.
This watch is incredibly fast, it is perfect for mind reading and hour predictions. Time has no more secrets for you, you become its master. Added to the pitata notepad you will do wonders.

This is by far the most powerful prop of its kind on the market nowadays. Keep in mind: 1) you can not even predict a time freely named but also peek it revealing in a very cleaner way 2) the watch work together with the white board allowing the spectator secretly input the time for you 🤯🤯 3) most important: it’s reliable and won’t bail on you ever!! The watch is super elegant matching with the most sophisticated outfits and the same time it looks inocente and usual. Definitely a must have for any professional serious mentalist.

I always loved the watch and I tried them all, this one is far ahead of all others! The fastest and more practical, with many things you can't do with the other ones. I am a professional female magician/mentalist and it's my favorite product from Pitata with the memo pad.
I had full confidence in this product. pitata has always made the best products, precise and refined. I'm not a professional magician, but this product made me a psychic at a gathering of friends and family. They examined this product closely but could not find any clues. This watch shows abilities that all current magic watches cannot. The watch has a second hand and is available with a crown. Only pitata watch is available. If you are hesitating to buy, don't hesitate. You can give someone a dream-like miracle. And pitata's service is the best in the world. Highly recommended.
The watch is high tech and obviously well made. Unfortunately the watch wasn't working for me when it arrived and I had to return it. Pitata were excellent and immediately helped. My 4 stars was given because I found the very tiny screws on the back of the watch (when changing battery) very difficult for me to deal with. Perhaps a back plate that screws on and off would have worked better? I'm very grateful that my order was allowed to be changed to a Printer Mini and that is also an excellent product.

Sans doute super mais j'ai voulu voir s'il y avait une batterie... Elle était présente et j'ai voulu voir quel type de batterie c'était. En essayant de la soulever, cette opération a fait sauter les aiguilles. Suite à cette mauvaise manipulation de ma part, je suis un peu catastrophé. Je viens de confier la montre à un bijoutier que je connais pour essayer de me remonter les aiguilles. Voilà. Désolé, mais je reste un peu honteux devant cette erreur de ma part. Et attristé de ne pas pouvoir la tester. J'espère que cela sera réparé rapidement ... Je croise les doigts ...
This works great & its integrations with the illuminati eco system open you up to countless creative ideas & routines. Got mine with a remote - can recommend. I was able to get away with not having my assistant thanks to that. It also looks great & thankfully I no longer have people telling me my Apple Watch is responsible for my magic methods.
I picked up the Elite Blue, and it is fantastic. As a magician, the first thing we worry about is "Does it look like a prop?" I can honestly say this passes every test. It’s my EDC; I swapped the strap for a brown band, and I can wear it with any outfit, from casual to suits. I get compliments on it constantly from people who have no idea it’s a high tech piece of magic. The Pros: The Crown: This is the highlight. The fact that the crown moves and functions to set the watch allows for some impossible mentalism. It feels organic and completely justifies handling the watch. Versatility: This is perfect for those "do a trick" moments. If you have your phone, you can do the standard routines. But what I love is that even if I don't have my phone, I can use the crown features to perform. You are always ready. The Tech: The watch comes with a remote, which is alright, but I prefer to pair this with a specific 3rd party app. It opens up a completely hands-off workflow that beats the standard remote handling in my opinion. The Cons/Notes: Battery Change: Be aware that changing the battery requires a bit of patience. You need a very specific, small precision bit to get the case open. If you have the tools, it's fine, but heads up if you don't. Verdict: Looks good, feels good, works amazingly. If you want a piece of kit that lives on your wrist and is ready to destroy an audience at a moment's notice, this is it.

Excellent watch and the blue face adds class. I also changed out the leather band for a stainless steel band I got from Amazon. Super! The time sets super fast and the button you use to send the time lets you delay a time change! Great feature! The only change I think it needs is to lengthen the watch battery time. The new watch needs the battery changed every 2 1/2 months as opposed to the previous version where it needed to be changed every month. Great watch!

I have another watch from another brand, but this one is faster and I really like the connectivity with the other Pitata devices.
The watch is a dream to wear and use. It keeps time accurately when not performing and has an array of quick change straps to switch it up with whatever your style is for the day. It syncs immediately with either the remote or the phone app. I had purchased another brand of watch and it would take several minutes and attempts to sync it to the phone. That is the main reason I purchased the Pitata watch and I'm glad I did. It works great with the remote although I am not a fan of any remote. I purchased this with the Smart Pad and I can't believe how great it works. I am beyond ecstatic with my purchase.
Since I got into magic, (2019) I start to create my own tricks and effects. From the beginnen I adoptes the theme "time" in my own creations. A friend of my who owns a magicshop in The Netherlands told me about the Pitata watch. I bougt the white model and with this watch I took my own tricks and effects to the next level. The speed and easy of use is incredible. I wear this watch as a common watch so I have always a very powerfull piece of magic with me. The looks are great and no one did suspect the magic applications of this watch. I also bought the Palm Peeker to complete my package. I’ve had several different watches over the years and they have all been good at what they do but there has always been a compromise. There is nothing about this watch that looks suspicious and the fact it has a working crown is an amazing touch. Thanks this watch is just what I have always wanted 😀
The watch stopped working , its not even a month , what to do.
The watch and its workings are better than I expected. Very pleased with the quality of this. My only suggestion would be to include a screwdriver with the watch.

Great product. I wish that the same clock face input approach as I guess many others are used to, any one that uses inject for example. Also wish that spectator could watch the face as he moves the hands, so that he can set the watch to his favored time and I can peek his chosen time.

I couldn't decide whether to rate this 4 or 5 stars, it really is a great product but has a few flaws. The tech behind it is impressive, the speed at which the time is set really surprised me, it really is as fast as in the ad videos. The Pitata app is great too, the whole "IoT" platform works flawlessly and at times it feels too easy to be true. The swipe-based input method is fast and reliable, too, in case you don't have any impression devices. The design of the watch itself is quite perfect too. I'm quite picky with watches and I think this is the first magic watch that I actually love the looks of. I got the white watch and it looks elegant with its blue accents, it's big for easy reading... I love the whole thing and I will be wearing it all the time. However, there are two details that need further refinements. They aren't a big issue for me, but for a product this price... I think they must be mentioned. First of all, the remote is very unreliable. I don't know whether I've received a faulty item, but it randomly starts vibrating constantly and it can't be used until restarting it. I wasn't planning on using the remote much, but it's a shame it doesn't work as expected. In addition, the crown on the watch is not convenient to use. It's hard to pull out because it sits flush against the body of the watch. As someone who uses nail polish, it's quite frustrating to chip it every time I want to use the crown. When turning the crown (which isn't a smooth turn as in most watches, and has a click to it) the time moves really slowly and it doesn't feel too realistic. It's also uncomfortable to set a desired time manually as a consequence... so I doubt I'll be using the amazing peek feature a lot. To sum up, this is an amazing product, a great tool with endless possibilities for mentalism routines. I really love it and feel so happy I decided to purchase it! Nonetheless, I do think it should be more polished for its price.
The watch is very beautiful, well made and works well. The APP for managing the clock is just enough. (I also have a Turner Watch, the management APP allows for fantastic Routines). The remote control is difficult to program, (Suddenly it starts to vibrate continuously and often loses connection with the watch. I have to turn it off and redo the whole connection procedure. It happened to me during a performance and it was embarrassing. I would recommend it to PLEASE review the APP, perhaps fix it to make it better and make the remote control better and simpler. I give 4 stars, but not for the management APP (which is the most important thing for routines) but for the watch .
The Pitata Watch is my favorite item made by Pitata. I liked the Pitata watch so much in white, that I purchased the blue version as well! I have found it to be one of the of the most stylish-looking magic smart watches on the market (especially with the metal band that Pitata sells). I appreciate the strength and simplicity of the Pitata app and how it functions with the watch. I particularly enjoy using the Memopad and Smart Whiteboard to set the time. I also enjoy using the Palm Peeker to "cold-read" the set time or written time. But my favorite way to "peek" is to use the app's audio function. It is brilliant, and people cannot understand how I read their thoughts when I announce the time they wrote on the MemoPad before I show them the time on the watch as a kicker ending (with my hands empty the entire time). If I had any suggestions for Pitata on improvement, I would suggest certain firmware upgrades for the app (I use the Android version). One firmware change would be to have the option to turn off the swipe feature, rather than just hide it. Another would be an option to have the app do a back-to-back second reading of the watch, without having to tap a button on the app to reset for the next performance. Nevertheless, both the watch and the app are still brilliant and with future firmware upgrades (that have already begun to happen), this should be a fantastic addition to any mentalism act for many years.
The watch is extremely beautiful, I also find it very easy to wear. The app is rather worthless because you actually also need a smart memo pad. the explanatory video is really bad. The explanations for remote control are unsatisfactory. Above all, the routines for the tricks are poor. 9 tricks are explained in 8 minutes. I also thought that the watch could be used without an app and without a remote. unfortunately not. I have been working on a routine involving watches for over 5 years. I've gone through multiple watches over variations of this routine, but nothing felt right, until I found Pitata. This watch fit perfectly in my routine. Every aspect that I needed was right here within the watch that they created. Each feature has been clearly thought out and tweaked to feel just right. Truly a great watch.

It's a great watch. This takes mentalism to another level. It really looks a lot like a real watch. The crown works well, but doesn't really look realistic and isn't super precise. However, it works and still achieves a lot of effect.
